The management of Chaophya Park Hotel wanted to add a spa to their already vast complex, but wanted to be different from the multitude of other spas in Bangkok. They had heard of the famous Balinese spas and went to Bali in December 2002 to meet spa expert, Shari Hartman, who had been living in Bali for seven years, working at some of the top spas located there. Shari agreed to come to Bangkok to set up the Balinese style of spa and manage it. Under her direction the spa opened in June 2003.
The spa has six private treatment rooms with showers and one couple’s suite with bath. Ms Hartman personally trained the 10 therapists, who are dressed in traditional Balinese attire. The friendly staff provide expert and warm service to all guests. Our two lovely receptionists will greet you with a smile and make you feel at home with a nice cup of ginger tea. |
