The history of Alpreeda ThaiSilk Co., Ltd. began in the year 1973 when the company founder, Mrs. Preeda Salamat, at her 28-year-old being inspired by the gorgeous of heritage Thai Silk fabric. She started her business with a small hand woven silk workshop based on honesty, integrity and sincerity since then. |

In 1980, Alpreeda ThaiSilk has been proud for its first retail shop named Preedaphan Thai Silk located at 259/2 Pattanakarn Rd. ,Suanluang, Bangkok 10250. During 1985-1990, a factory and an export & import company were established to serve our supporters worldwide. When her daughter, Ms.Chantorn Salamat, began her journey with the company in 1995, the focus of the company has been shifted to wider spectrum of both customers and products. From 1998 we developed more lines of products in accessories , gifts and garments , in addition to the original silk fabric . In 2000, the new line of Living Decoration was created ambitiously. Moreover, we began to invest in the weaving machinery extensively in order to support this new product line. |
